The scale block can be used in many ways to provide a user-friendly and clear way to present information, be it progress in a process, evaluation of products or preference selection. It enables effective interactions and feedback and also facilitates comparison of items.

Adding the scale block

  1. In the blocks tab, navigate to Input and drag the scale block into your heyflow

  2. Add top labels. Type in desired top labels, such as very good or very bad, and press enter, so they are added.

  3. Adjust the General settings such as Navigation activated

  4. Add a system label to make sure you are processing the data in a meaningful way.

  5. Now publish your heyflow and you’re good to go!

Edit Options

General

  • Sensitive: If activated, the values are not saved in our database (more information here).

  • Navigation activated: Rather than having a button, have the next screen load immediately after a selection is made.

  • Hide labels: When activated, your top labels won't be visible.

  • Show tooltips: A tooltip is an element displayed as an informational text box when hovering over an item. This usually indicates the amount that is being hovered over.

  • Display label: Dictates whether labels are displayed within the scale boxes.

  • System label: See System Label.

Spacing

  • Width: You can use this to adjust the maximum spread of the block and choose between S, M, L and maximum width.

  • Top, Bottom, Left and Right: You can use these options to set the distance to all sides. To do this, either use the slider or specify the exact number of pixels.

Appearance

  • Visibility: Here you can select whether the block is only displayed in the mobile or desktop version or whether it is hidden completely.

  • Background colour: You can select a colour to be used as the background for the block.
