Step 1: Setting up System Labels and Variables

Firstly, you need to set up the system label and variables for all options needed for the calculation of the lead score.

In order to use the input later in the formula, start by adding a variable to the input block.

Now the individual options must be given a value. If you want to assign a score to a non-numeric input, simply add the value to the system label for each of the options. If you then use this variable, the text will be ignored in the calculation and only the numerical input will be used for the calculation.

In your responses, the whole system label including the numeric value is shown.

Step 2: Adding the Calculation

As soon as all options have a value in the label, you can add the formula. This should be done after all relevant questions, but before the submit button, so that the calculation is also visible in your answer.

Insert a text or heading block on your screen and add your desired variables with @.

Your lead score can be a simple addition of the values, but you can also add multipliers if certain questions carry more weight. As soon as you select the text, a toolbar opens where you can select a formula.

You can then enter a system label for the calculation so that it is also visible in your answers and you can use it via your integrated answer routines.

To prevent your visitors from seeing this calculation, you can easily hide the block under Appearance.

Step 3: Using the Lead Score

Your lead score is now part of your responses. Also, you can send the data via your response handlers directly to the integration of your choice, e.g. Google Sheets or your CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce or any other tool you connected via Zapier.
